Here’s our featured nutrition article for this week from trainer Ben Ruetenik

Think you’re too busy to eat healthy? Buy in bulk and
cook on your off days for quicker, healthier meals all week long!

Step 1-Add to your shopping list for this week:
Tub of Greek yogurt, tub of cottage cheese, bag of boneless chicken breast,
10 pack of pork, chicken or fish (your preference) 12 pack of
eggs to hard boil (or if you’re REALLY hard pressed for time, they sell
pre-hard boiled eggs at meijers in a big bag!) , Kashi go lean
cereal, 1 pound tub of mixed nuts (great for healthy fats), brown rice,
raisins

Step 2- Figure out what days you have off and how much
time you’ll have. Set out an hour or two (mark it off on your agenda
if you need to!) for cooking. Lay down all the chicken
breast and season/sauce as needed. Get the rice going in one pot and the eggs
in another. Put the yogurt and cottage cheese in seperate grab and go
containers that you can snatch up on the run. When the rice and chicken is done
take each piece of chicken, pair it with some rice and put it in seperate
tuppeware containers. Do the same for any pork, steak or fish. Mix the nuts in
with some of the Kashi go lean cereal and some raisins and store in a large bag
for a healthy trailmix! Put the boiled eggs back in their container and
store in fridge.

To Find More Out About Ben. Visit the crossfit link above.

Now you’ve got food for the whole week that you can grab
and go!
